The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, also known as GATE, is an examination that is given at the national level and is primarily intended to test the candidate's comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in the fields of engineering, technology, and architecture, science, commerce, and the arts. The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will be in charge of administering the computer-based exam (CBT) that is designated as GATE 2023.

OPPORTUNITIES
Valid GATE score may be utilised for admission to (i) Master's and direct Doctoral programmes in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts; and (ii) Doctoral programmes in relevant disciplines of Arts and Science, at institutions funded by the MoE and other Government bodies.
Qualified GATE scores can be used to seek financial aid for I Master's programmes and direct Doctoral programmes in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts; and (ii) Doctoral programmes in relevant branches of Arts and Science, in institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies.
